'tis the season to spend lots of money. And spend it on myself rather than on other people! Harharharharhar!!!

I just used ebay for the first time! Yes I'm slow ~~but not so slow as the internet is here at home! Curse you Dad for downloading so much!~~
I got myself a cameo necklace. It looks a bit like this one, but it has a red background instead of a black one. Woo! I've wanted a cameo necklace for ages, why didn't I ask for one for christmas? *lose*

Crikey, that’s bad. are there still some trains working? I’m assuming you don’t have to walk, that would be outrageous.

Hello! Thank you for the pictures!
It’s day 3 of the subway/bus strike here in NYC. I am feeling very very dead. It takes me 2 hours each way, if not more, and yesterday I was at work at 6 and today at 7. It’s especially pleasant that this is all happening while the weather is incredibly cold and right before the holidays (last minute shopping not completed - ..more on that later…my family celebrates everything except Kwanza and Hannukah, but I will be going to celebrate Hannukah this year at my boyfriend’s place)
Must get begin napping…er, working now
