I would have mentioned this yesterday but I had to go to bed, so...
OK, no time to chat. I have to travel across the country to go to my cousin's wedding (I'm excited).
Things of note this week:
I went to see King Lear performed in the grounds of an old country house. There was so much eye gouging going on at one point that I almost thought that I was watching CLAMP. Almost, because there is nothing scarier than the possibility of actually confusing CLAMP with Shakespeare. (Also,
there wasn't enough angst and tragic death for it to be CLAMP SHUT UP SHUT UP)

Travelling to another continent is dedication! When I said travelling across the country I meant across-ways rather than south to north, so it was only a 2 hour drive >_>
I hope your cousin had a nice time :)
I still remember when my cousin and I were both young (she’s about 3 years older than me and I looked up to her so much), so it was really strange to see her getting married.
(it won’t be long until I send you another letter, really, I promise)
Hi Janine! Awesome Clematis pages!
You say you have to travel across the country for a wedding…pshhh, well, I had to travel to another continent. I just came back from my cousin’s wedding in Ukraine (pictures posted on my site) and then I had a few days in Austria (pictures not yet posted).
Oh and put another entry on the website about the wedding. PLEEEEEAAAASSSSEEE.

CLAMP are a famous all female group of manga creators from Japan. They draw, among others, Tsubasa, xxxHolic and X/1999.
The joke here is that a popular storyline of theirs is to gouge characters’ eyes out. Also, a number of their works are known for being violent and full of angst and character death.
