So, for reasons that still escape me, Tsubasa chapter 125 came out yesterday. No waiting until Wednesday...maybe I just wished hard enough to see the next chapter...?

OK OK. I restrained myself from writing about the previous chapter, but I can't hold back any longer. HUGE chapter 125 spoilers coming your way!

Right, I've been completely blindsided by ths chapter (it seems to be happening a lot recently), but not in the usual IT'S SO SAD D:
more along the lines of WHERE ON EARTH DID THAT COME FROM?

So, to stop Fay from dying...they turn him into a vampire?!
If there was anything I wasn't expecting, it was that. I mean, I suppose it does work, what with Kamui and Subaru about...but...it seems like CLAMP suddenly decided vampires would be a good idea, so we get vampires. I suppose that I shouldn't be surprised, seeing as the whole manga seems to be a product of CLAMP throwing everything they can think of into a hat and mixing it up a bit to see what comes out.
Wacky races + computer simulations + fairytale princesses + acid rain + evil overlords + giant worms + vampires = okaaay.

But, oh, there's a twist. When Yuuko said that Kurogane would have to forever feed Fay his blood, I had to laugh. WHAT A CONTRIVANCE! Yes, they went there. Did I mention that this plot is getting outrageous?

So, with all the:
- "You will be his prey"
- "You will be responsible for his life"
- "I will do aything to stop him from dying"
and also
- "His companion's feelings have reached him!"

I think its pretty clear to see where they are going with this, which is quite surprising seeing as how this is a shounen manga and all, but then not really because this is CLAMP. And yet, despite this being a hilariously blantant contrivance, I like it :3

Oh Kurogane, when did he become so precious to you?

But a big part of me is worried that Fay is going to either become vampire!mental or he's going to let all his angst out and we're going to lose the happy, bouncy, watch me prance about with a fairy wand (an illustration that killed me btw) Fay that we all know and love.

A final note: during all the Kamui, Kurogane blood sharing, I couldn't help but think, "NO DON'T DO IT! WHAT IF HE HAS AIDS!"

oh *sigh* I suppose I'll actually have to wait for the next chapter now won't I?
