Wow, I do feel special! My bedroom looks so much better with it up on the wall! I didn’t actually attach it in the back, I just kind of put the batik in the frame, and then put the backing paper and the back of the frame on top; it seemed to work (and that way I can put it in a new frame if I fancy a change of style).
I started Master and Margarita today at lunch. I’m on chapter 2 now; it’s quite interesting so far. Don’t worry, I read slow.
I don’t think I got any clues when I watched The Sixth Sense; I was so surprised by the twist at the end. I think I was too busy being scared to spot anything.

Yay for framed art! Don’t worry, the frame looks good and what’s inside doesn’t look bad either ^__^…it’s one of my more complicated works - it took 3 steps instead of the usual 2 - I did the designs in white first, then the colors (this is where I would usually stop) and finally a layer of black - blue - purple. I think I may have about 10 works in total that I used this whole process on. Don’t you feel special now! ;) How did you attach it in the back? I use whatever tape I can find in my desk, but packing tape works very well if you want a more permanent bond.
I liked Sixth Sense too when I saw it. It’s one of my mom’s favourite movies. But I didn’t get a lot of the clues until I saw the director’s commentary. Did you get the “red color” hints?
Have you started Master & Margarita yet? if not, wait for me!! I’ll try to find the Russian version at home and we can read it “together".
Yes, don’t worry about using tape, it should help it the fabric begins to crease.
I agree about the scary part in 6th sense. I was so surprised at the end! The red colour appears every time there’s a ghost present, I believe. There is also a scene whe it seems like the “ghost” of Bruce Willis is talking to the mother, when they are sitting in the armchairs, but if you look again, you’ll see that they are not talking, so she was just sitting there. Have you seen Suicide Club - a wonderful & truly messed up movie. One of my favourites!
I also foung the book “Ringu” in Russian and it was really scary (until the end when you realize what happened & why) and this is considering that I read it at the office. It also explained a lot of things about the movie, which took some mystery out of it, making it less scary.
