I've spent the past hour moping on the phone to my parents.

I will run out of money this year. It's completely unavoidable. It's no longer a case of 'if' I run out of money, just a case of 'by how much'. Luckily my parents said they'd help me out if I ran into difficulties. Hmmm...a few more years before I become financially independent then. Oh well. I might be poor, but at least I'm going to be poor and doing a job that I really want to do. That'll stick it to 'The Man'.
