So I've been defrosting the fridge for 12 hours now. I thought it was only going to take three. It turns out that the freezer compartment was completely solid with ice. I can get inside the freezer compartment now, and there's only about 2 inches of ice left.

I'll keep you posted on how it goes. If I don't lose the will to live beforehand.
