I've just been knocked for six by Tsubasa chapter 106. Read more for spoilers ahoy!

Firstly I have to say kyaaaaa! And then I have to say pyuuuuu! And finally I have to say:

Fay used his magics!!!!

I've been waiting for so long for Fay to start using his magic, I'm finding it hard to stop dancing all over the place, but I will try to be a little coherent.

Why Fay is using his magic now is beyond me. They've been in tight situations before where Fay's magic could have helped, but he hasn't used it. Was this really a situation where there was no other way out? Maybe Fay has grown to care about the gang enough now to want to help them above all else; we already know that he's not willing to use his magic to save just himself. But he has been throwing his magic about a lot in this whole Recourt country arc, it's been impossible to stop him talking about things he knows because he's had "magic training". Hmmm...could it be that Recourt country is so full of magic already that Fay believes his magic won't be noticed amongst all the rest? Of course this theory assumes that Fay won't use his magic because it'll help Ashura find him, but that's hardly set in stone either.
So, why doesn't Fay want to use his magic? Why does he chose to use it now? Until we get some serious backstory, I don't think we're going to find out.

I do not think, however, that Fay will start using his magic from now on. I doubt that he has, and is willing to, unleash his powers after "learning to whistle".
Which brings me onto another thing. I am still very skeptical about the fact that Fay couldn't whistle in the first place. I've never really believed it, because Fay is a dirty liar and everyone knows it, but I never really knew a good reason as to why he would pretend to not be able to whistle. OK, I still don't know why he would lie about it, but it could be part of not wanting anyone know about his magical capabilities. So yes, Fay could have learnt to whistle and along with it gained some magic, but it seems all too convenient. Also, I don't believe one thing that Fay says or does.

So, I've done a whole lot of talking and have said a whole lot of nothing. The one thing that I am able to conclude on is that Fay doing magic is super cool. Super cool! I would love to see him do some more. You know, CLAMP could create a new manga and call it 'Fay does lots of magic stuff' and fill it with nothing but Fay doing various magics with no plot whatsoever, AND I'D READ IT! I would also like some Fay backstory right now! Please?

Did I mention that Fay doing magic is awesome? With all the whistling and everything? AWESOME. Now he needs to do some violence with his magic to make it even cooler!
